You are welcome to visit our factory at Follummoen, located outside Hønefoss. Here, we have offices, a development department, a warehouse, a saddlery workshop, an electrical workshop, a mechanical workshop, a painting facility, and a team of pleasant and skilled individuals.
Several individuals at Baldertech have been building Balder wheelchairs since the product entered the market, but most of them have joined the company during its recent years of growth
We've set up our own sales offices in both England and Germany, along with distributors in France, the Netherlands, Belgium, Denmark, and Iceland.

Our history is local
Today's Baldertech had its origins in the local area, within HandPro, which specialized in adapting cars for individuals with mobility impairments. HandPro recognized that there was a lack of a wheelchair on the market that truly fit well in a car while encompassing all the qualities one would typically need in an electric wheelchair.
This is why Balder still maintains its strength as an excellent car seat. Over time, other features of the chair have also been developed and improved, allowing us to deliver a chair that surpasses most others in the market when it comes to important functions such as the ability to have a low and high position, tilt forward, and lay flat like a bed.
Balder is owned by Norwegian investors and employees.
